During the 73rd Annual meeting of the EAAP (The European Federation of Animal Science) in Porto (Portugal), Organic-PLUS researcher Dr. Carmen L. Manuelian (UNIPD) received the EAAP 2022 Young Scientist Award. The award was presented by Dr. Peter Sanftleben, council member of the EAAP and Dr. Isabel Casasús, president of the EAAP.
In 2016, the EAAP Council established the Young Scientists Award, which is granted to early career researchers demonstrating outstanding research performance with the European dimension and perspective.
Carmen is part of the University of Padova research team and plays a vital role in the Organic-PLUS project, primarily involved in the livestock work and helping to coordinate the workpackage.
